Parenting these days is tough! Between social media, COVID-19, race and class injustice and other current events, it may feel overwhelming to think about how to raise good human beings. The responsibility might feel so great that you are frozen and don’t know where to start.
Have you given much thought to teaching justice in your home? What are observations and experiences you have had with your family that make you want to talk more about justice and equity? Do you see a need for changes to be made in your community in response to all you have witnessed and learned about BLM and inequality this year?
On February 24th, we hosted a conversation with Kiran Gaind, Parenting Coach and founder of Raising Resilience, to discuss how to have meaningful conversations about race and equity in your own homes and communities. Together we can better understand race, class, opportunity, possibility, and implement positive change.
If you missed the live broadcast, you will want to watch the replay. This valuable information will give you an outline for how to start making changes at home and engaging with organizations that need your help.
