Erin is the founder of Alkalign and host of Alkalign Unplugged, a podcast about all things wellness. She is as passionate about business as she is about health and wellness and brings 20 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, marketing, product development and Six Sigma project management to her role. Her vision coupled with her business acumen has led to the creation of Alkalign. As CEO and a current studio owner, she is committed to empowering other entrepreneurs to own and operate successful Alkalign studios and to help the world become a healthier place, one connection at a time. Erin graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in History. She is a lifelong athlete and fitness enthusiast and began inspiring others on an indoor cycle bike 15 years ago. Erin has taught functional strength classes for over 13 years, studied biomechanics with Katy Bowman, and completed health coaching certification with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She lives in Menlo Park with her husband, Tony, and their two daughters. Erin is available for consulting services.



Lizzie joined the Alkalign corporate team at its inception in 2015 as a Co-director of Innovation, responsible for evolving Alkalign’s class offerings. Since then, Lizzie’s role has expanded to include Franchise Development and all Operations. She is excited to work with the corporate team and prospective and current Alkalign Studios franchise owners to provide them with a smooth, turnkey start-up and operational experience. Lizzie received a B.S. and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and gave up her full-time engineering career to expand her role with the Alkalign corporate team. She has found immense satisfaction in her day-to-day interactions with Alkalign’s amazing family and wants to bring that experience to communities everywhere.



Marlene joined the Alkalign instructor team in Grand Rapids, MI in 2017 and shortly after joined the corporate team. She brings her expertise in design and branding to the team executing marketing emails, social media and brand-building design for Alkalign. She has a B.F.A. from Grand Valley State University in Graphic Design and has worked in creative direction, marketing and design for the last 20 years. In her role as Corporate Communications Manager, she is excited to be able to unite her professional experience with her passion for Alkalign.



Cathy is an integral part of the Alkalign team as a Master Instructor and Development Coach. Cathy is passionate about fitness and works hard to bring out the best in others, both instructors and clients. She believes exercise should be fun and that time spent at the studio should be a bright spot in everyone’s day! You can usually find Cathy at the studio taking class, teaching, connecting with clients, or tapping into her inner talk show host as a co-creator on Alkalign Unplugged, a collection of conversations on a whole host of topics in the health and wellness field.



Sarah joined the Alkalign instructor team in 2014 and recently rejoined us from Atlanta thanks to the magic of our Livestream classes. She studied Therapeutic Recreation at Clemson and brings her knowledge of holistic wellness to the Alkalign Team. Sarah is passionate about the mind-body benefits of Alkalign and community-building and is thrilled to be sharing that love with our trainees in her role as Development Coach.
