Erin is the founder of Alkalign and is as passionate about business as she is about health and wellness. Erin brings 20 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, marketing, product development and Six Sigma project management to her role. Her vision coupled with her business acumen have led to the creation of Alkalign. As a former franchisee of The Dailey Method and current studio owner, she is committed to empowering other entrepreneurs to own and operate successful Alkalign studios and to help the world become a healthier place, one connection at a time.
Erin graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in History. She is a lifelong athlete and fitness enthusiast and began inspiring others on an indoor cycle bike 12 years ago. Erin has taught barre classes for over 10 years and is currently pursuing certifications in biomechanics with Katy Bowman and health coaching with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She lives in Menlo Park with her husband, Tony, and their two daughters.
Lizzie joined the Alkalign corporate team at its inception in 2015 as a co-director of innovation, responsible for evolving Alkalign’s class offerings. Since then, Lizzie’s role has expanded to include Franchise Development and Operations. She is excited to work with the corporate team and prospective and current Alkalign Studios franchise owners to provide them with a smooth, turnkey start-up and operational experience.
Lizzie received a B.S. and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and gave up her full-time engineering career to expand her role with the Alkalign corporate team. She has found immense satisfaction in her day-to-day interactions with Alkalign’s amazing family and wants to bring that experience to communities everywhere.
An editor and writer, Marijane supervises the execution of all Alkalign communications. She has a degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and has worked in corporate and education publishing as well as with startups, small businesses, and individual authors for the past eight years as a contractor. Marijane took her first barre class at the Menlo Park studio in 2010 and has been a dedicated client ever since.
In her role as Corporate Communications Manager, she is delighted to be able to unite her editorial experience with her passion for Alkalign. Working alongside smart, driven individuals to advance Alkalign’s vision for health and wellness brings Marijane great satisfaction.
Cathy is excited to join the Alkalign team in the role of Training and Performance Management and brings her expertise in education and teaching. Cathy is passionate about fitness and works hard to bring out the best in others, both instructors and clients. She believes exercise should be fun and that time spent at the studio should be a bright spot in everyone’s day! Because Cathy rarely misses a day, you can usually find her at the studio taking class, teaching or connecting with clients.
Pauline is thrilled to be a part of a fantastic team at Alkalign. In the role of Development Coach, she motivates and inspires instructors to be the best they can be. As an instructor and a coach, her joy is challenging clients beyond their comfort zone and ensuring they feel successful. When at the studio, Pauline enjoys the constant connection with clients before, during and after class.
